Employer forced me to resign during my probation, is this legal?

I was working as a software developer in a Mumbai-based company. Last week, during my probation period, my manager pressured me to resign immediately, claiming I was not meeting their standards. I felt blindsided as I was never given any warning or feedback prior. I'm worried because I don't know if this is allowed under Indian employment law. What are my rights in this situation? Can I challenge this legally?
