Overview

The High Court of Tripura is the constitutional High Court for the State of Tripura. Before becoming a separate High Court, Tripura had a Bench of the common Gauhati High Court, which became a permanent Bench on 14 May 1992. Under the North-Eastern Areas (Reorganisation) and Other Related Laws (Amendment) Act, 2012, a separate High Court for Tripura was created and began functioning on 23 March 2013. The Court has its seat at Agartala and exercises jurisdiction over the entire State of Tripura. Its current online services include case status, cause lists, judgments, orders, e-Filing 3.0, e-Payment, virtual e-Sewa Kendra, video conferencing, display board and other e-Court services.
