Overview

The Rajasthan High Court was inaugurated at Jodhpur on 29 August 1949. Following the States Reorganisation Act, 1956, the High Court of Rajasthan came into existence with its Principal Seat at Jodhpur. The Jaipur Bench of the Rajasthan High Court started functioning from 30 January 1977. The Court exercises constitutional, writ, civil, criminal, appellate, revisional and supervisory jurisdiction throughout Rajasthan. Its digital services include case-status search, cause lists, judgments, orders, e-Filing, e-Services, online RTI, display boards, e-Pass and virtual-court facilities.
