My business partner disappeared with ₹10 lakh from our joint account?

I'm based in Bengaluru. Last week, my business partner withdrew ₹10 lakh from our joint company account and has gone incommunicado since then. We were running a small IT startup together and this money was meant for an urgent project. I'm feeling completely betrayed as we had an agreement to discuss any large withdrawals. I've already visited his house but his family is not cooperating. I'm unsure how to proceed legally. Can I file a case against him to recover the money?
