Employer terminated me without notice after I reported harassment at work?

I was working at a tech company in Bengaluru and faced repeated harassment from a senior manager. After I reported it to HR last month, they conducted an inquiry. Out of the blue, yesterday I received a termination email saying my services are no longer required, with no prior notice. This feels like retaliation for my complaint. I’m anxious about my rights and what steps I can take to challenge this unfair dismissal. Can the company just terminate me like that? What should I do to protect myself?
