Employer dismissed me without notice after a medical leave, what are my rights?

I work in a tech company in Bangalore and was on approved medical leave for two weeks due to a surgery. Upon returning, I received a termination letter without any prior notice or explanation. I have worked there for 3 years with a clean record. I'm shocked and don't know what to do. This feels very unfair, and I believe my rights as an employee have been violated. What actions can I take against the company for this wrongful termination? Can I claim compensation or reinstatement?
