Company terminated my contract without notice citing performance issues?

I was working with a tech startup in Bengaluru for 9 months. Today, without any prior warning, they terminated my contract, citing performance issues. I had been consistently meeting my targets and have emails to prove my good performance. They didn't give any notice period or severance pay.
