Jurisdiction: The High Court of Orissa exercises territorial jurisdiction over the entire State of Odisha. It is a Court of Record and exercises constitutional, writ, appellate, civil, criminal and other jurisdiction vested in a High Court under the Constitution of India and applicable laws. The Court has power to issue writs and directions under Article 226 of the Constitution and exercises supervisory jurisdiction under Article 227.
