I joined a company in Gurgaon with an offer letter stating a salary of Rs. 10 lakhs per annum. However, since joining, they've only been paying me Rs. 8 lakhs citing budget cuts. This was never communicated before I signed the offer. I've emailed HR but received no response. I'm very frustrated and feel cheated. What can I do legally to resolve this?

I bought a laptop from an online retailer based in Bengaluru for ₹50,000. It arrived last week with a faulty screen. I contacted their customer service, but they keep delaying and now refuse a refund, offering only repairs. I feel cheated, as the product was faulty on delivery. What are my rights here, and how can I get my money back?

Hey! I’m feeling really betrayed right now. I published a novel six months ago in Bangalore, and I just found out that someone has copied significant parts of my work and published it as their own. I spent ₹70,000 on editing and printing! I tried reaching out to the publisher, but they say it’s not their problem. What legal options do I have to fight this?

I'm feeling scared! A few days ago in Kolkata, the police wrongfully detained me while I was just walking home. They accused me of something I didn't do and even demanded a bribe of ₹2,000 to let me go. This is so unfair! What steps should I take to file a complaint against this harassment? I need help!

I live in a rented apartment in Mumbai. Suddenly, my landlord has started charging an additional Rs 5,000 as maintenance fee without any prior notice. This wasn't mentioned in our lease agreement. I confronted him, but he insists it's for unforeseen building expenses. I'm really frustrated as this is beyond my budget. Is it legal for him to charge extra like this?

I own a trademarked brand in Ahmedabad, and recently noticed a competitor using a very similar name for their products. It's causing confusion among customers and affecting my sales. I've sent them a cease and desist letter, but they haven't responded. What are my legal options to enforce my trademark and stop their use of this similar name?
