My brother took a loan against our shared property without telling me?

I live in Pune and have a shared property with my brother inherited from our parents. Recently, I found out he took a ₹10 lakh loan by putting this property as collateral, and I wasn't informed or consulted. I feel betrayed as I trusted him to manage our affairs transparently.
