My brother sold our family land without telling me, what can I do in Tamil Nadu?

I am from Chennai. Recently I found out my brother sold our ancestral land without informing me. He handled all the paperwork and now claims it's too late to do anything. This land was meant to stay in our family according to our parents' wish. I feel betrayed and helpless. I need to know what legal actions I can take to challenge this sale and get my rightful share. Is there a way to prove this was done illegally in Tamil Nadu?
