Employer not paying salary for 3 months, what steps can I take in Bangalore?

I've been working at a tech startup in Bangalore and my employer has not paid my salary for the past three months. I am really struggling to manage my expenses without any income. They keep promising the payment next week but it never happens. I am feeling helpless and frustrated. How can I legally compel them to pay my dues? Should I take this matter to the labor court or is there any other legal route I can pursue?
