Can my brother sell our jointly owned land without my permission?

My brother sold our ancestral land in Jaipur that we jointly inherited from our parents. He finalized the deal last week without informing me. I only found out when the new owner visited, claiming ownership. I feel betrayed and angry. I have always trusted my brother. The land is worth around ₹50 lakhs. What legal recourse do I have to challenge this sale or get my share?
