Brother took loan against our shared property without informing me?

I just found out that my brother took a huge loan of ₹15 lakhs by mortgaging our ancestral property in Kerala, which is jointly owned by both of us. I never gave consent for this and he didn’t even inform me. I’m extremely worried about losing our property if he defaults. What legal action can I take against him to secure my share and prevent any loss?
